“Earlier in 2025, I had an opportunity to meet with Kaitlyn Brennan and Anna Shelton from GiGi’s Playhouse. This came about because of a connection made by Joy Lytle and Austin Heller from the Clermont Chamber of Commerce. I was excited to make a visit to GiGi’s Playhouse and hear about how the mission of the Playhouse (to make a lifetime commitment to changing lives and providing hope through the consistent delivery of FREE educational, therapeutic, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community, using a replicable playhouse model) aligns with the work of the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities. From that visit I was able to come back to my office and share about the great work of GiGi’s Playhouse with other leaders here at Clermont DD. From that we’re hopeful that the free resources provided by GiGi’s Playhouse can be beneficial to individuals also supported through the Clermont County Board of DD. I am very appreciative of the connection that was made and look forward to seeing how this connection can continue to grow in the future. Thank you, Clermont Chamber of Commerce!”

"What has the Clermont Chamber done for me that we could not have done for ourselves? This is a question many ask when they look at paying their second year dues. Full disclosure, this is a question we asked ourselves when we paid our second year dues in 2025.
Cold calling or cold emailing in 2025 is a hard thing to do. Decision makers rarely answer their phones and email inbox filters are pretty quick to classify something as spam. Being a part of the Clermont Chamber gives you access to area business owners, managers, and other decision makers IN PERSON allowing the building of a personal relationship in order to hopefully lead into a business relationship.
In our sixth year of business, with multiple offices, employees, and contractors, we have had many unfamiliar and uncomfortable situations come up in the past 14 months that we have never dealt with before. Leasing office space, sourcing vendors for print materials and signs, HR and benefits questions, insurance, all items that we needed guidance on and members of the chamber were able to help us work through. The fellowship and connections you can make are an extremely valuable asset to the growth of your own company.
You will get out of the chamber just as much as you put in. If you go to the events, be part of the process, volunteer, and participate, the Clermont Chamber is like having an extremely knowledgeable and experienced extension of your staff.

New to Clermont County, I attended a Young Professionals event seeking to connect with community leaders. When asked about engagement, I expressed a desire to serve on a non-profit board, emphasizing the value of donating time and intellectual curiosity.
This led to an opportunity with HealthSource of Ohio, whose leaders also served on the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Board. When a Chamber board position opened, I volunteered to represent TTata Consultancy Services – TCS.
TCS, having operated in Miami Township/Milford for 17 years, prioritizes giving back to local communities. Our associates are more engaged in events, find fulfillment in volunteer opportunities, and feel safer and happier due to our strong relationship with the Chamber.
