Enrollment is now open for FY26/27!

The Clermont Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the second year of its Safety Council, in partnership with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC). This program supports local employers in building safer, healthier workplaces through education, resources, and ongoing safety-focused programming.

The Clermont County Safety Council hosts monthly meetings (except December) featuring occupational safety and health topics and BWC updates at the Union Township Civic Center, 4350 Aicholtz Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45245 (subject to change).

Why Join the Safety Council?

Participation in the Clermont Chamber Safety Council provides employers with a wide range of benefits, including:

  • 3% Rebate on Workers’ Compensation Premiums
    Eligible businesses can earn a rebate of up to 3% on their workers’ compensation premiums by actively participating in the program.
  • Workplace Safety, Health, and Wellness Education
    Members will gain access to expert-led sessions, workshops, and educational materials designed to enhance safety practices and promote a culture of wellness.
  • Peer Networking and Resource Sharing

How to Enroll in the Safety Council

STEP 1: Complete the new enrollment form

Complete the New Enrollment Form and email it to Terrie Stockton. September 30, 2026 is the enrollment deadline to ensure eligibility for the 3% rebate through the Ohio Safety Council program.

To qualify for the 3% rebate, employers must complete the full, ten-credit program requirements between July 1 and June 30 of the program year. Enrollment period for 2026-2027 Annual Safety Council Membership ends September 30th. Please complete the 2026-2027 Enrollment Form. Contact Austin Heller (513-576-5015) after September 30th with any enrollment questions or inquiries. 

Rebate Qualification Requirements

To receive the 3% rebate, employers must earn ten credits by participating in any combination of the following:

  • Monthly safety council meetings (with your enrolled council)
  • External training sessions (one credit per training session, two credit maximum):
    • BWC in-person training
    • In-person training by approved external providers
    • The Ohio Safety Congress & Expo® (OSC®)
  • Completion of a BWC onsite consultation with a Field Safety Service Consultant (two credit maximum; limited to once every three years)

Even without earning the rebate, participation provides significant educational value.

STEP 2: Register & Submit Payment

To finalize your enrollment, please register by September 30th and submit your one-time annual membership payment for the Safety Council.
