Civic • An individual or organization that exemplifies citizenship including non-elected individuals working for government or volunteering in civic organizations.

Education • An individual or organization that has made a contribution in the educational field including educators, fundraisers, concerned citizens organizations and advocacy.

Environmental/Parks and Recreation • An individual or organization that has made an impact on improving preservation, development of green space, the environmental quality of life in Clermont County, or providing recreational opportunities for the citizens of our county.

Health/Health Care • An individual or organization that has made an impact to the health and wellness of our citizens including agencies, outreach programs, professionals and advocacy.

Human Services • An individual, organization, agency or program that has made a contribution to the needs and concerns of our citizens in Clermont County.

Rural Interests • An individual or organization that has made an impact on improving the quality of life for individuals who live in the rural areas of our county.

Safety/Justice • An individual, organization or project that has made an impact on the safety and well-being of our citizens including special safety related projects, fire protection, EMS services and law enforcement.

The Up ‘n Over Youth Leadership Award • A hard-working, well-rounded student in the age group of 16 to 21 who demonstrates not only exemplary character, but has demonstrated leadership both in school and community activities.

Humanitarian Award in Memory of Dr. Richard J. Zinsmeister  • An individual living or working in Clermont County; unselfishly gives of his/her self whether through professional or civic work; promotes respect among people; has made a measurable impact on the quality of life for residents; and lives the passion of his/her cause.

The William H. Over Leadership Award • An individual or organization that has made an impact through their leadership in improving the quality of life in our county.
