Jason Roeper started Rivertown Brewing Company in December 2009 in a Lockland industrial park.  This microbrewry has capacity to brew 1500 barrels per year.  Rivertown has already landed product placement in Kroger's along with several local bars and restaurants. 

In February, Saowanit Wongtouwan and her husband opened The Blue Elephant restaurant in a new building they had constructed at 2912 Wasson Road in Hyde Park. This is their first Thai restaurant in the Cincinnati area.  They opeate two similar restaurants in California.
