An association of businesses working together to enhance the community, the Clermont Chamber of Commerce was organized in 1969 around two projects:  attracting a quality educational institution – the University of Cincinnati’s campus in Batavia, and the establishment of what became Mercy Hospital Clermont.  The Chamber has grown to play a major leadership role in the overall development of Clermont and its surrounding communities.  The mission of the Clermont Chamber is to provide outstanding to the community in advocacy, economic growth and investor services making the Clermont County area the best place to locate, operate and grow your business.

The Chamber is active in advocacy and Government Affairs by monitoring and evaluating local, state and federal legislation; supporting or opposing actions that could impact the business community; building and maintaining healthy relationships with elected officials by communicating business priorities and encouraging government to be more responsive; and surveying our membership to find issues of concern to shape and mold our legislative and community agenda.

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the Clermont Chamber is a cooperative effort between the Clermont Chamber, the US Small Business Administration and the Ohio Department of Development.  The SBDC provides counseling, training, and educational services to small business owners and entrepreneurs.  Federal and State funding enable the SBDC to provide the majority of its programs and services free of charge.

In addition, the Clermont Chamber provides a wealth of business promotion opportunities, volunteer leadership opportunities and networking opportunities. To put these opportunities to work for your business, join the Chamber today.
